James made his way to Colorado from Florida to study Philosophy at CU Boulder, where he met his wife Maegan. They now live in Denver with their three kids. James received his Master of Arts in Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary. He loves to ski, bike, and share our incredible hope in Christ.
Zach Seelye
Worship Pastor & Ruling Elder
Zach is a Michigander who moved to Colorado to lead worship in 2014. He and his wife Claire have 3 kids, Darby, Delta, and Daphne. Zach helps people see worship of God in all things and passionately leads people into an experience of worship in the church. He loves exploring how faith informs art, and enjoys leading others to the richness of the gospel through music.
John Kushniroff
Ruling Elder
John is a Colorado native who lives in Arvada with his wife Heidi, daughter Lucy, and son Jack. John attended the University of Arkansas before returning home to pursue a career in real estate investment and development. In his free time you can find him on his bike or standing in a river fly fishing. John was raised in the church, and derives great hope from how the gospel transforms and is redeeming every aspect of life.
Blake Arensdorf
Ruling Elder
Blake was born and raised in Colorado and now lives in Denver with his wife Lauren and sons Xavier, Vann, and Mack. Blake studied Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado Boulder before spending his career in tech, startups, and real estate. When not coaching his boys’ sports teams or training his Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, you can find him reading and talking about family worship and discipleship.

Alan Brannon
Deacon
Alan and his wife Sarah live in Denver with their kids, Luke and Alice. Raised in the southeast, Alan moved to Colorado for graduate studies, and stayed to work as an electrical engineer, before transitioning to academic research. Having experienced the grace and mercy of Christ, he is passionate to see the truth of God's Word encourage the saints through a deeper recognition of our unity with Christ.
Jonathan Peterson
Deacon
Jonathan and his wife Sophia live in the Berkeley-Regis neighborhood with their son, Nico. He attended CU Boulder prior to beginning his career in Denver's aerospace industry as an electrical engineer. Outside of work, he enjoys playing music, riding bikes with the family, and listening to podcasts.
Ryan Ballein
Deacon
Ryan and his wife Brittany moved from Chicago to Denver in 2015. They live in the Berkeley neighborhood with their 2 girls, Sawyer and Alice (Richie). Ryan attended Michigan State University before starting his career leading teams in the cloud tech space. In his free time he loves all things outdoors, especially when it involves connecting with others!
Thomas Bressie
Deacon
Tom Bressie is a midwesterner at heart who now lives in Golden, Colorado. Tom has spent his professional career in engineering and marketing roles helping to grow a variety of different technology companies. He loves to get outdoors with his pup Rosie, spend time volunteering with animal welfare organizations, and both train Jiu Jitsu and teach kids classes.

Maegan Rathmann
RCD Kids Director
Maegan is a real-life Colorado native, who likes to sneak off to the mountains to play as often as possible. She and her husband James (see above...) have 3 kids, JT, Maeble, and Bode. Maegan is deeply interested in learning how kids learn, and brings that to her ministry with the children at RCD.
Krista Copeland
Administrator
Krista makes the wheels turn at Redemption Denver, ensuring the important details are never overlooked. If you have a question about anything going on at the church, chances are she’s got the answer.
Gibson Gellerman
Administrator & Future Pastor
Gibson is a Colorado native finishing his Bachelors degree in theology at CCU. After graduation, he is planning on attending seminary and going into Pastoral ministry. He loves to read, hike, spend time with his fiance, Paige, and see the dominion of Christ spread from sea to sea.
